He was born on July 5, 1985. His father was a automobile mechanic in San Francisco and mother was a school teacher. Since childhood, he had interest in the Soccer sport. He used to play Soccer with his street friends and was the leader of them. While studying in class 9th, he participated in an intraschool Soccer competition and his team became the champion. While attending Liberty High School, he became a member of the Bakersfield Alliance club soccer team. 2002 was his shining year, when he scored 25 goals playing for Chicago Fire. After passing his secondary education, he moved to Long Beach, where he took admission in the California State University. At the university, he completed his degree in the Information Technology. During the college days, he participated in the USL Premier Development League. He then joined the University of Nevada, Reno, where he continued his soccer career.
Larrie Hermans runs a Soccer coaching center in his local city, where approximately 250 players are receiving coaching. This center has been established to provide free sports coaching to the poor and dedicated poor sport persons in the city. Talking about his family members, he has three brothers, one of them is a software engineer in a local Information Technology company, one is studying in 9th and other is a restaurant owner at San Jose. His hobbies are listening to music, traveling, swimming, and sleeping. He loves going out for vacations at a hilly station in his free time with his friends and family.
